I've always felt more connected to the people on the outside than the people trying to fit in.
The people carrying questions they don't talk about.
The people who want to believe there's something more but don't always know what that looks like.
Life is messy. Faith can be messy too.
I don't think growth comes from pretending to have everything together. I think it starts with being honest about where you are.
This music comes from that place.
Every song is part of a journey—through doubt, hope, failure, redemption, and everything in between.
If you're still searching, you're not alone.

“A.S.A. is a play on my name, Austin, but the meaning grew deeper after I read about King Asa in the Bible.
His story resonated with me because I saw my own struggles reflected in it. One of my biggest challenges has been learning to trust God instead of relying on myself or other people.
King Asa started strong in his faith, but later placed his trust elsewhere. His story reminded me that faith isn't just about beginning with God—it's about continuing to walk with Him.
That's what A.S.A. means to me: a reminder to keep my trust in God and stay aligned with His purpose.
It’s a movement for anyone who feels that life is different. It's a constant reminder to rely on God since we’ve felt the scales fall off.”

"I felt pushed in a different direction. I'd worked hard my whole life, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was meant for more than just clocking in and clocking out."

“A.S.A stands for A Soul Awakened. The name came during a season when I felt God calling me toward something greater. I've always appreciated artists like H.E.R., whose name carried a deeper meaning, and when I came across A Soul Awakened, it felt like more than just a name—it felt like a realization.
It was a reminder that my purpose comes from God. This music, this mission, and everything I'm building exists because He led me here. My responsibility is to stay faithful to that calling and continue walking in His direction.”

“Music is one of the most influential things we consume. Scripture shows us that what we take in affects our hearts and minds.
When used with purpose, music can share truth, encourage faith, and reach people who may never step foot in a church.
Sometimes outreach starts with a song.”

“Ive listened to everything. I love everything. Ive always appreciated and learned from all genres… Its hard to pinpoint my sound. I leave it all up to the interpreter.”

For 15 years, I worked as a mechanic. Over time, I began feeling called to something more. I felt God pulling me toward working for His purpose rather than simply working for another man's gain.
Like Jonah, I wasn't quick to answer the call.
I tried returning to the mechanic field several times, but after a series of unexpected accidents and closed doors, it became clear that God was leading me down a different path.
As I searched for answers, God placed the right people in my life—people who encouraged me, believed in me, and breathed life into me when I didn't have much left.
I've always loved music, but I never imagined it would become part of my calling. Through several encounters with the Holy Spirit, I learned to recognize God's leading, and I knew He was directing me toward something bigger than myself.
